CHEAPER OIL FOR AVONWICK, DIPTFORD AND NORTH HUISH? It seems both Avonwick/North Huish and Diptford have the same aims - to try and get cheaper oil for parishioners. There are fifteen houses in the Avonwick area and about thirty houses in Diptford that have already expressed an interest, but we are certain that more will now come on board. Steve Hill and Maggie Luscombe felt that combining our efforts would give us better bargaining power and we have come up with a scheme which hopefully will provide us with cheaper oil. If people can let us know when they have information to put on to the website, or, just as importantly, take off the site when it is no longer relevant, we can give a better service.
