Diptford Bellringers

Diptford and its surrounding area have an active bellringing group.

They meet on a regular basis most Thursday evenings to ring at Halwell, 7.30 pm.

Mike is Chairman of Totnes Deanery Bellringers and Captain of Bells at Diptford.
Totnes Deanery run a winter league to encourage new ringers and every month our ringers, with Halwell, ring at the towers that are entered in the competition.

The recent open evening has resulted in some new bellringers coming forward.

We called into the church tower a couple of weeks ago and met Janet and her son Fred who are both keen to learn.
