CENTREPOINT

As members will know, Diptford WI is helping to sponsor a room at Centrepoint; Centrepoint in London provides home & support for young people in need of help.

Have a look at their website and see the work they do.

You will need to click on "Already a sponsor" - that text is in dark blue at the top and not easy to see.

Then click "I am a Room Sponsor and I have created a login".

PAT'S STILL FUNDRAISING!

photo of Pat Baggott who ran in the London Marathon in 2009 and is now going to Kenya to raise funds for an orphanage

Pat's Grenada photo

Pat Baggott went to Kenya in November 2009 - not walking this time - cycling to raise funds for a girl's orphanage - the Ngoingwa orphanage at Thika.

The home rescues orphan girls who are sometimes put out on to the streets AS CHILDREN, and maybe be abused. The girls are given a home life and a family environment to grow up in and taught a skill.
