Police report by PC Debbie Taylor
- Last month there were no crimes reported in the area, there was 1 operation logged - for cows on road.
- There was a slight alarm, farmers should be vigilant and report any loss of ammonia sulphate however slight especially during the election period.
- The take up for Farm Watch in the area was a disappointing 17 out of 130, to be beneficial it is important that more join, forms are available.
- Neighbourhood Watch need more volunteers, crime is low but the eyes and ears of the community are important. Leaflets to join are available or contact Gale Bond at Totnes Police Station - it is not time consuming.
- Policing; Adrian Partridge has now been made youth intervention officer at Brixham, it is hoped he will be replaced. It is important everyone reports even minor theft and crimes to keep policing levels up.
- To report crimes or suspicions call 08452 777 444 for non urgent enquiries, a central switchboard will route you or call you back, however if you see someone in or leaving your house or garden do not hesitate to call 999.
