08.032 Apologies for absence were accepted from Cllr Walton and County Cllr Date

08.033 Declarations of interest in items on the Agenda - None

08.034 The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 21^st April 2008 (as amended) were approved and signed by the Chairman

08.035 Planning Applications received

1. Certificate of lawfulness for existing use of mobile home without complying with agricultural tie and erection of lean-to extension, Wonton Farm, Diptford Ref 45/0758/08/CLE – No evidence available to support/refute the claim that the building had been used for the purpose described in excess of the last ten years. It was noted that the site lay outside the Parish

2. Amendments to approved plans 17/2651/07 Removal of window and replacement with smaller window and shutter at Larcombe Corner, Diptford Ref 17/08/788/08/F Mr Joseph No objection

08.036 Councillor Vacancy – The Clerk would advertise the vacancy on the noticeboard and in the magazine

6. Funding request: Vitalise – No funding would be granted. Grants would only be issued where a direct benefit to the parish could be demonstrated

08.024 Correspondence received

1. SHDC Parish Cluster Meeting, Follaton House 7pm 22.5.08. Cllr Foster would attend.

2. SHDC Development Control and Conservation User Group: Items for next meeting on 1.10.08 – Certificate of Lawfulness, retrospective planning applications and the effectiveness of enforcement. The Clerk would invite SHDC Enforcement Officer Helen Smart to attend the June Parish Council Meeting.

3. DAPC Training: New Councillors Short Course, South Brent 26 June – Cllrs Savery and Stow would attend at a total cost of £50
